Fayetteville, a small town located in the North-Western part of Arkansas, the USA, abounds in attractive houses but also in decorations and other details that give a special note to this student town, seat of one of the most important campuses of the University of Arkansas.
As shown in the pictures below, houses designed in the so-called craftsman and old colonial Dutch style are decorated with wonderful objects like bird feeders, weathervanes, and, notably, catchy liberal bywords, which say something about the values of people inhabiting these houses.
A stroll in the old centre of Fayetteville is a joy to the eye, heart, and soul, and a reminder that remote places or those areas which are not on every tourist’s map can be enriching travelling experiences in their own right by displaying versatile cultural forms and sophisticated living spaces.
